Here’s Why I Love Christmas

Can you believe that Christmas eve is only 3 weeks today?!!!

This year at some points has really dragged, however the latter part of the year has flown by and I feel Christmas has really crept up on me, well as much as it can when I’ve had the tree and decorations up since the 1st November, yes that’s right – November, not December! And I am not even sorry!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas! It’s my favourite time of the year, it still feels magical and warm and cozy and full of fun and glittery shiz! My favourite parts of Christmas are (in no particular order;

  • The decorations! I love putting up the decorations, having a interior design moment and making my home look as flippin festive as I possibly can. My tree is so kitsch with colourful, mismatched decorations and the more glitter, sequins and overall sparkle the better – you can’t overdo it, I go all Clark Griswald on your arse!
  • An excuse to eat more chocolate & drink more chocolate – enough said.
  • I love buying and making gifts for others. Buying local, putting thought into the gifts and personalising them so that person knows I’ve thought about them and they are special, spreading the love and make them feel warm and fuzzy.
  • Christmas music – I bloody love it! It starts playing in my house in November, much to my husbands dismay, but I just fudging love it, all of it!
  • Taking time off to spend it with my nearest and dearest – extra time with my favourite humans is just fabulous.
  • Christmas movies – yes I even watch the rubbish channel 5 movies as I love a good bit of cheese!
  • The goodwill people show. Now I know lots of people do nice things all year round, however you see more of it and people feel more generous at Christmas. I love seeing random acts of kindness, people supporting each other, sharing the love, giving to those in need and spreading of love.

Christmas to me is a special time of the year, many see it as an opportunity to set themselves resolutions or goals they would like to achieve the following year and I’m all for it. I personally don’t set resolutions, as I set myself goals and targets throughout the year, both in business and my personal life, however I will take the opportunity to set new things I want to achieve next year over the Christmas period. I will put a plan in place so I can boss 2021, grow my team of Associates even more, become an even more awesome Virtual PA and most importantly – have more bloomin fun in my business. Sometimes we work so hard we forget to have fun and after all, what is the point if we can’t have fun!

If you want to get on top of your goals and targets for 2021, then do drop me a message for an Organisational Power Hour and lets get you and your processes in place at the start of the year so you can smash it! Drop me an email at hello@cherryblossommanagement.co.uk

I hope however you are spending Christmas this year, you have a magical time, filled with love, happiness and glitter, lots and lots of glitter x
