We are all guilty
We are all guilty of it, well if you run your own business you are, you know, falling into that trap of doing the things we don’t like doing, offering those services that we can do and we might even be good at, but don’t really enjoy, or for me, to go as far as stresses me the fudge out and I start to resent it. Like that Monday morning feeling when you work in a corporate job you hate and it ruins your Sunday night at the thought of going to work the next day.
Yeah, this was me a week ago. I was thinking to myself, how have I got here all over again?! You’d think after 6 years in business, of niching my services, after being hella strong on my boundaries, that I wouldn’t be in the predicament of offering services that I didn’t enjoy, that stressed me out, and quite frankly, I started to hate!
Let me explain
Well, the reality is, it’s so easy to do right?! Let me give you a real-life example of what I mean…
I offer newsletter creation as a service, which falls into email marketing. The bits I’m great at and love are the content creation and the design work with beautifully branded headers and sections, that’s where my real talents are, and I genuinely enjoy that aspect. Great right?! Well, what can also fall into the email marketing bracket is building sales funnels, automations and customer journeys. It’s something I can do, I’m okay at it, but I hate doing it! Why? Because it’s so heavily technical, and relies on all the tech working at every stage and doing its job, and if one little element isn’t doing what it’s supposed to, then the whole thing breaks. For those who are old enough, it’s like the old Christmas lights, if one bulb was out, it messed with all the lights. That is the bit I hate, relying on something beyond my control, that when it goes wrong, reflects badly on me, regardless of whether it was my fault or not.
But it’s my main earner
The issue I have had recently is how do I get rid of core services when they are my main earner? At the moment, the large proportion of my retainer clients are through email marketing, or social media marketing, which is another service I have wanted to scrap. I love the content creations and designing the graphics, it’s the scheduling, the engagement strategy, the tech I don’t enjoy. So how do I get rid of the services that make me unhappy without losing my income? This really is the magic question isn’t it, and I’ve spent many hours brainstorming how to do just this, and do you know what I’ve come up with?
The solution
I need to stop overthinking and start doing! Procrastination is the theif of getting shiz done and the theif of joy, and I need to get out of my head and make changes. If it doesn’t work I can just try something else. The world won’t end if my changes don’t go the way I’d hoped, I will just have to evolve and adapt, but unless I try, I’m never going to know, so feck it, I’m diving in.
Boundaries Mentoring
The other issue I’ve had is that as well as my unapologetic and impactful marketing services, I am also a Boundaries Mentor and I absolutely love doing it, it lights me up more than anything, and the transformations my clients have seen are truly life changing, but I don’t talk about it, advertise it, or market it as I’ve always struggled with marketing two separate business under the same roof, in the same social media accounts, and let’s face it, I’m not setting up separate social media accounts because who has time to post and manage all of that?! I don’t! So, I’ve been trying to work out how to market both businesses under the same roof, on the same platforms, without muddying the water, without confusing people, and still being able to speak and appeal directly to my ideal client.
No sleep
That’s why with a full weekend of not sleeping because I was overthinking, brainstorming, and listening to my body, to my soul and what I need to be happy, I finally made the decision.
I am so done with services I don’t enjoy, that stress me out and that aren’t aligned with where I want to take my business, so going forward there are two sides to my business and the services I will be offering are;

Two parts to my business
The first part of my business is, I provide impactful and unapologetic creative marketing services for impact-led business owners. I will ensure you stand out as the Leader and Expert you are by creating brilliant on brand graphics and imagery with Canva Pro, curating social media content, graphics & reels that feel so beautifully, brilliantly and effortlessly you, and captivating content in the form of blogs & newsletters, that are so authentic they speak directly to your ideal client, all while freeing up your time and energy to focus on what you do best.
The second part to my business is all about Boundaries & Self Care! I work with women who want to show up unapologetically and impactfully, are ready to embrace the power of no, want to stop being a people pleaser and start living a life on their terms. I work with you to help you create strong healthy boundaries to show up as the Goddess you are.

Alignment
You see, these two perfectly align because by creating strong, healthy boundaries, by building a powerful personal brand, by showing up unapologetically and impactfully in life and business, it allows you to grow the business you want, live the life you dreamed of, on your terms, one that brings you joy.
I’ve always talked about showing up Unapologetically & Impactfully and building a strong personal brand, so that isn’t changing, however, I will also be talking to you about boundaries and self care, and how these things can co-exist together, to build a life and business that you want, one that brings you joy, and builds connection.
I will be working with you to give you the tools to shine bright and show up as the absolute Goddess you are, both in business and in life.
